Our values are based on one philosophical truth: every student is different. During the consult, we ask specific questions then listen intently. Does your student have learning disabilities? Does he struggle with math? Does she need to improve her ACT score to earn a sports scholarship?
Then, we answer your questions. Should my daughter take the SAT or ACT? Should my son take AP Calculus or Statistics? Does she need to take SAT Subject Tests? When should he take the test? You ask it, we can and will answer it.
We collect any information you have for us so we may apply it to structured, individualized instruction.

After understanding your student’s background, needs, and goals, we construct a personalized plan. No two students are the same, and as such, no two plans are the same. Some students need math instruction, others need test taking skills, and still others needs practice with pattern recognition.
Because we do not offer cookie cutter programs, we have the adaptability to create nuanced plans.

We hold all of our team members to high standards, but as real people, we are all different. We consider this diversity a strength. Just like you wouldn’t ask your lawyer for dental work, each of us has specific qualities and areas of expertise. Your student’s specific needs, their schedule, and their interests are all considered before we match them with an instructor.
Our instructors have considerable depth and breadth of knowledge, which results from our one of a kind internal training program and regular, continuing education: the bedrock of our program.

Perfect practice makes perfect. But how do you know if it’s working? It typically takes just a handful of sessions before an instructor can glean insight into a student’s strengths and weaknesses. But this isn’t good enough. We are a data-driven company that believes if you can measure it, you can improve it. For our test preparation students, full-length practice tests play an integral role in the process, allowing for accurate tracking of improvement. For academic coaching, grades in the classroom and instructor-provided diagnostic assessments are critical.

To riff on Robert Burns’ 1786 poem, the most carefully prepared plans may go wrong. The value of a one-on-one program is that course corrections can be made instantly. The leads not only to more efficient and effective instruction but also to higher student engrossment. Just as runners vary their training and pace as their become fitter, learners too must evolve and change their level of focus. Auto-pilot may work for Tesla, but it does not work for us.
